Call for Articles: Special Issue of Counseling & Psychotherapy Research on Men & Psychotherapy

Dr. Werner Kierski is seeking articles for a special issue of Counseling & Psychotherapy Research, a quarterly international journal of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, which will be dedicated to the topic of men and psychotherapy. CPR has been published for 10 years with a quarterly readership of approx 32,000. The deadline will need to be finalized by the editorial board, but it is likely to be April 1, 2011.

He is looking for the following:

  • Original research into counselling, psychotherapy and the use of counselling with men.
  • Case studies, where systematic and ethical methods of data collection have been applied.
  • Critical discussions and reviews of the relevance for practice of existing research studies.

The request is for articles of 3000-5000 words which will be peer reviewed, and need to comply with Taylor & Francis style. Articles will present research on men and therapy but some reflective articles may be included as well.
