Carol Gilligan expanded
Lawrence Kohlberg's
moral development hierarchy to include women, who have a slightly different sense of morality than do men,
based more in communion than in agency. This is "
Carol Gilligan on the emotional voice you never hear," from
The Big Think.
I'm not convince that only women can speak from the emotional voice, maybe once, but that seems to be a generalization, not an absolute truth.
